Royal Wings Hotel

Regular rooms in a tall main building, and lagoon villas with their own pools down in the gardens: Royal Wings Hotel offers two quite different ways to stay on one site.

According to its 2026 summer concept document, this Lara hotel belongs to Royal Group Hotels, opened in 2005 and had a full renovation in 2019. It covers about 72,000 m², has 457 rooms in a ten-storey main building and is open twelve months a year. The concept is Ultra All Inclusive, with Antalya Airport about 15 km away and the city around 17 km.

Most rooms are superior rooms that sleep up to three adults and a child. Families can book two-storey duplex rooms, with the parents upstairs and the children below. Junior suites with a jacuzzi face the sea, and there are two-bedroom King Suites. Among the lagoon villa suites in the gardens, some have a private pool and others have direct pool access from the terrace, and there is a honeymoon lagoon villa too.

Alongside the main restaurant, dinner options include Gondol (Italian), Bamboo Garden (Far Eastern), Sahan (local dishes), Deep Sea (seafood), a steakhouse and Olive (Mediterranean). By day there is a beach snack restaurant and food corners by the aquapark and pools; late at night, a midnight buffet.

The downsides? According to the concept document, the hotel has its own private beach with a pier, mixed sand and gravel underfoot, so water shoes help small children. Some booking sites give a different distance to the beach, so if the sea is your priority, confirm it with the hotel. In a ten-storey block, upper floors may mean waiting for lifts.

Not ideal if you want an all-sand beach or a low-rise resort.

Limak Lara Deluxe next door has a similar room count and a sandy beach. IC Hotels Green Palace also offers private-pool villas, although its largest ones are far bigger.

It is open all year, but June to September is the easy swimming season. In the heavy midday heat of July and August, a lagoon villa's private pool is a good way to cool off away from the crowds.
