Akra Sorgun TUI BLUE Sensatori has chosen to host families and couples on the same site, but in different corners. According to Akra's 2026 fact sheet, the concept is ultra all-inclusive; it operates as a family hotel with a dedicated adults' section for guests aged 16 and over.

It lies in Sorgun, east of Side. This stretch of coast is lined mostly with resorts and sits a little way from the historic centre, so an evening in the ancient city means a short drive rather than a walk.

On the beach, TUI lists a private sandy beach of about 260 metres with Blue Flag status, roughly 50 metres from the hotel. That length gives guests plenty of breathing space.

The logic of this hotel, as we see it, is flexibility. A family with children and a child-free couple can share the same resort yet spend their days at very different paces. The adults' section gives couples who end up in a family hotel somewhere to retreat to.

What to keep in mind: despite the adults' section, the resort as a whole is a family hotel, so expecting a child-free atmosphere would be unrealistic. The transfer is long too; TUI puts Antalya Airport at about 67 km, around 80 minutes by road.

It is not for guests who want a short transfer, or for those planning to spend most of their holiday in Side's old streets.

Voyage Sorgun is in the same area, also ultra all-inclusive and aimed at families and couples, with one of its piers reserved for guests aged 16 and over. For a strictly adults-only hotel, TUI BLUE Barut Andız in the Side neighbourhood is the clearer answer.

The Sorgun coast is lively in summer and usually quieter in September once schools are back. Midday heat is high in July and August, so use the beach in the morning and late afternoon. The sea is generally swimmable from June to early October.
