Titanic Deluxe Lara

Titanic Deluxe Lara sits about 10 km from Antalya Airport and roughly 12 km from the city centre. For families who want to be poolside within half an hour of landing, that alone is a strong argument.

Its real job, though, is keeping children busy. The aquapark has four slides for adults and six for children, and the fact that the kids' slides outnumber the adults' tells you who it was designed for. Several more pools sit around the grounds.

The private sandy beach is about 350 metres long, reasonable by Lara standards.

Room choice is broad: standard rooms of about 26 m², rooms in an annex on the garden or pool side, family rooms and suites of up to around 150 m². Note that 26 m² is compact, so a family of four will be more comfortable in a family room.

Parkfora is the buffet restaurant, with snack points open during the day. The à la carte venues (Beef Grill Club for steak, Pascarella for Italian, Yamas for Greek and Nori for Far Eastern) cost extra.

At BeFine Spa, the gym, saunas, Turkish bath and indoor pool are free; massages and body treatments are charged.

Who should look elsewhere? Anyone expecting a spacious standard room, guests who want every dinner included, and couples wanting distance from children.

By comparison, Delphin Imperial is much larger at around 800 rooms and has a fifteen-slide waterpark. Concorde De Luxe is a similar size but plainer on the aquapark side. The brand's Belek sister has bigger grounds and a beach of around one kilometre.

The free indoor pool lets children swim even in shoulder months such as April and October. The sea is usually at its most enjoyable from June to September, and in high summer the slides are quietest early in the morning.
